Social Events

Thank you for your interest in renting Facility Space at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, CT.  We know that this is the perfect venue to host YOUR EVENT. Our facility can seat groups of 80 cocktail style, 120 for a sit-down function in our lobby spaces or 260 on stage for a catered affair.

Special event packages include host, space, and cleaning of the facility. As a full service facility, we would be happy to recommend caterers and vendors for you to obtain tables, chairs, dance floor, linens, table settings and other necessary items. The cost for these items is individualized based on number of anticipated guests/patrons and is not included in your rental estimate.

Terms: The special event package represents a 5 hour block of time. The typical timeline is:

• 1 hour set up time to include: Vendor Set-Up, Band and/or DJ Set-Up, Sound, Lighting, and Staging
• 1 hour rehearsal time
• 2 hour event
• 1 hour break down time

Please Note:

1. Timeline can be adjusted to suit your needs, understanding that the 5 hour block of time is inclusive of set up and break down.
2. Should your event require additional time, there is a surcharge for each additional hour.
3. Dressing Room Availability; the bathroom(s) on the floor of your event in the Front of House Area
4. Fire and Police are contracted and contacted by the Palace Theater

What to put on the ticket - The Palace Ticket Form has 2 lines.
Each line has a maximum of 32 characters, including spaces and punctuation. 
All information can be uppercase and/or lowercase and centered.

On Sale Date ‑ please list the event’s proposed on sale date. 
Some negotiation maybe required, depending on The Palace’s current list
of sale dates and your event on sale.  This information should be finalized and submitted with the contract, but no less than 4 business days prior to the on sale date. 

Marketing: There is a FLAT FEE of $250.00 for the following:
- Group Sales at a reduced commission (10%)
- Programs Insert (one performance)
- Inclusion on Marquee Scrolling Calendar of Events         
- Static Marquee Display Announcement of Performance on day of event   

Marketing Option: 
Palace Theater feature e-campaign - $325 per campaign.
